So there has been some uber creative stuff happening at the studio.

We have had some very successful workshops, a birthday party of giggling girls, and shrine making date. It has been wonderful to see the ah-mazing and creative things that people can come up with if you simply give them the community, space and materials that they need. First there was the heirloom necklace workshop.

These ladies were very creative, and most were making these special necklaces to remember someone they loved.

A lot of love and thought went into the necklaces.

This is one that The Lady made. It has a picture of her grandmother in it and it says, "Stay calm and carry on" one of the important lessons that she passed on to my mother; my great-grandmother lived through the second world war at her doorstep, raised five children and created a home that continues to be the safe haven for our family.

Next there was the birhtday party. We had seven lovely girls come and make domino charms for to celebrate their friends birthday.

This is Paige, she was one of the birthday girl's friends and is the daughter of our dear friend Kay Ellen. I was lucky to have her around because she and her friend came by earlier that week to some make a charm of their own so she was a great helper.

The girls poured over our stamp collection...

This is the birthday girl, she was all smiles.

This past week my good friend Tasha brought in a friend for a special creative night. We made shrines to our creative spirits and Tasha's friend Rose jumped right in.

So there is a quick update of everything that has been going on around the studio!
-'Till the next adventure,
Jessica
