My serious answer is...networking with other artists is important. Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another. Getting a bunch of creative people together can increase their creativity, and help them to challenge one another into greater endeavors!
With that, I say, we need challenges! This month, everyone make art (of some kind) about X. Something abstract, like what loves means. Just a thought.

...hmm, I think I'll go to work now and continue my suggestions.

i have arrived here because you were kind enough to send an invitation to me and then kayellen said that i had to join so now that i have joined what happens will there be meetings if yes are the meetings required if they are required will there be refreshments how about smores can we have them at the meetings if they are required that is if the meetings are required not the smores by the way and to be honest im not very artistic as a matter of fact and to be a bit more honest bordering on brutality when we were discussing this group i thought it was going to be a bit more sci fi as in martian studios that may be why i sounded a bit more excited because i like sci fi but i guess i can try to contribute in some way or another live long and prosper mark hammar

I am driven to look for beauty, art and insights that really and truly bring "the flash" that motivates and stimulates the mind and the heart.

It is so much better to lament something you did than to be disappointed about something you did not do and waste time wondering if it would have made a difference.

I wish I could tell you who shared that with me — maybe it was part of a dream that stuck with me when I woke up — but it is a driving force in my life. I am so ashamed that as a promoter of community it has taken me so long to meet you! Shame on me indeed. I must say that though we are continents apart we must be kindred spirits. I too, believe that failure is not a thing to afraid of--its the threat of "What ifs?" that drive me to insanity. I look forward to hearing from you again in the future!

I am glad that you found us because if being creative is what you love to do, we are the place to do it! Our entire purpose at Marchen Studios is to provide you with the people, space and materials you need in order to be creative. If you can come by the studio it would be great to meet you and there is always someone there to share your creative journey. You can also use our studio for your own work, either by becoming a monthly member or paying by the hour. We also have a ton of fun creative things in our shop to help you on your way!
